Trip to Western Massachusetts not Pigeon Forge

Monday the 16th

I woke up at about 01:00 Monday to find an unknown eastbound going by and chased it to Tewksbury and Andover arriving at Andover at 02:13 with MEC 7528 & 7627 and 41 cars for 176 axles. They met what I think was another POAY near there and I saw them at 02:43 at Andover with MEC 7595, 7605, & 7875. Then I went back to sleep.

When I awoke I went to Lawrence where I found a switcher working in the yard at 06:02 with MEC 317. After following them around the yard for a while I found MEC 315 & 381 there and idle as well. Then it was off to Reading to see 287, 288, & 201, and then to Anderson/Woburn R T C for an early Downeaster 681 at 09:29, MBTA 316 at 09:37, and 311 at 09:43. At Ballardvale I met 682, and finding it to be a flag stop with no scheduled trains coming I was ready to head for Andover when I was surprised by a westbound freight with MEC 7655, 7727, & 3400 on the lead. At Andover I saw the 210 at 11:06. Then I went back to Lawrence for train 214.

From there I continued to Bradford where I found train 207 waiting to pull up to Haverhill station. Then 216 came by. Then I made one last stop at Durham NH for 686 before heading home and found they had 3 extra cars and an extra engine along for the ride south.
